     In Art Expression, campers are introduced to design technique and color theory. Campers are guided through an exploration of various styles and concepts, such as emotion painting, pointillism, dripping paint, accidental drawing, and abstract art. In the unit on self-portrait and Andy Warhol, each camper is photographed and the lines of their portraits are isolated using computer software; this allows campers to use their knowledge of color theory to color several copies of their own self-portraits in order to evoke different emotions (see below).
